Cable TV - Reverse Traps

This is when the cable system inserts an extra radio-frequency signal into the frequency spectrum between the high-frequency edge of the video signal and the sound carrier. Doing this distorts the video and audio signal rendering them unwatchable.

To restore the signal to one watchable you must obtain a notch file which will filter out the interferring carrier and will restore the signal to normal once again.
